And as the virus sweeps through the world, every suspect, case and death is counted. Everywhere we turn to we see the words COVID-19 featured in sensationalistic headlines from reporters desperate to be the first to release new information. And as we religiously follow the news and the numbers, we see lives turning into digits and rapidly growing numbers of statistics, meanwhile paying close attention to possible new cures, vaccines, drugs, anything that could potentially wake us up from this nightmare.

Questions that require rapid answers as politicians and public health specialists work night and day examining the next steps to take.
